World of Warcraft has a very nice character creation process. It is very easy to use and very fast!

With beautiful landscapes and scenery, World of Warcraft is very pretty. Like this introductory video for the tauren, a shot of Thunder Bluff.
It Begins...
Many games cross over the paths of our little eyes, some of them carry huge names and some are not so huge. Warcraft just happens to be a huge name, and apparently huge names get rewarded with Massive Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Games. Enter: World of Warcraft, the biggest achievement in Blizzard's history, and the most successful PC game in the world.

Play That Funky Music!
The music in this game is incredible! It is so mellow and quiet at times, the music can literally put you in a calm state that makes you want to hug something, like a stuffed teddy bear. Sometimes though, the music is fast paced and extremely loud as it compliments certain areas you explore, or certain battles you partake.

The sound effects of the game are also rather nice, the sound of wood getting hit or that beautiful clang of a sword strike being parried by an axe really makes the game feel more lively and a bit more comfortable. Also, when pandemonium ensues, such as a huge battle between a group of players and a group of pissed off ogres, the sound goes crazy with all of the commotion

So Toony, Yet Pretty
The game is definitely sporting a beautiful plethora of almost toon like graphics. Nevermind the fact that it looks childish, the game is extremely beautiful with it's vast landscapes and very real feeling environments. The way entire continents work as one huge area, with rivers and lakes combined. Everything comes together so beautifully. The special effects of spells and of fighting are very nice, and the frames per second are also very smooth.

The player models for each race are nicely done, with sexy Night Elves and the hulky Tauren, the opposites are covered nicely. The monsters in the game, commonly referred to as "mobs", are also nicely done. Ogres and orcs, dragons and insect creatures called Silithids, are just a small portion of the things to witness in this beautiful game.

Once Upon a Time...
The storyline is there. If you are interested in the lore of World of Warcraft, this game will show you a few neat things. You will be introduced to a few new events in the world and it also gives the player a chance to see specific areas in a full scale view.

There are quite a few areas that are a part of the story in a deep manner, and there are new areas that introduce new bits and pieces to Azeroth. Much time is spent accomplishing goals for the many quests you will partake in, and many of them have their place in the overall game's storyline while some of them are their own little stories.

Degree in Difficulty?
Okay, this game isn't like slow paced games like Everquest and Final Fantasy XI, it is fast paced and very action oriented. Is it impossible? No, in the beginning of the game it is easy in every degree. It is easy to get used to and easy to figure out. Thankfully it doesn't tax a newcomer's mind to oblivion when you want to do something complicated like running away from battle.

As the game progresses, it does get hard, and while it isn't all hardcore, there are a few things at the end of the game that are just insane. There are dungeons that require 40 people to finish, boss NPCs that require full scale raid parties to take down and so on. There is a bit to do for casual and hardcore gamers alike. Blizzard did change a few things recently which made the end game things quite a bit more difficult, but hopefully that doesn't scare too many casual gamers away!

Player Interaction Good!
World of Warcraft is different because it gives you an option to solo your way all the way to the top, or you can spend all of your time from level 1 to level 60 with your buddies. The profession system falls a bit behind because it feels in a sense, inferior to a few things, but it is extremely nice anyway.

Player vs player scenarios are very well done in this game. There is a dueling system to even things out man to man (or woman to woman) and a penchant for large scaled player battles. Each class contributes to each battle in their own unique way and well, maybe that's the way it should be.

Speaking of each player contributing their own special touch, in the games many dungeons, also known as "instances", parties should always be formed with a tactful mind. You have characters to heal with, characters to do massive damage with and characters to defend the others. You also have characters that control the way huge gangs of monsters move and such. Not only is it action packed, it makes you think! Thinking is good.

In the Eyes of a Chibi
The Chibi section is the opinions of a gamer who isn't very familiar with video games at all, so this opinion may come off as too cute to some of you. ^_^

This game is so cool! I play it from time to time to help my friend make money for her characters and stuff. I really like the quests and I really enjoy the extremely cute little people! I have been playing as her gnome mage and it's just so cool because like, it's this little person that casts magic spells at big mean things.

I really like the game but it's really hard and kind of frustrating when you die to a gang of thugged up troll things. They smash me with their clubs and I just die too much, but it's still fun. It's not like Final Fantasy, where you die to a goat and you lose two levels, no, this game gives you an unending number of chances!

I don't know what's wrong with the game looking "toony"! I think the game is so adorable and cute! What's up with undead things though? Those aren't so cute. They're always mean too, it's like the undead players hate me or something. I guess it's the way the game works?

I still play the game! It's kind of frustrating when the game goes down, but everyone says it happens to all the online games, so hey, I don't mind! I hope you liked my little mini-review! ^_^
